¿La casta tiene miedo? Teoría de élites y clases sociales en la narrativa discursiva de Javier Milei.
Abstract
Since his public appearance on the national political scene in 2021, Javier Milei has launched attacks against the traditional political class, which he called "caste," a central concept within his electoral narrative that he still uses today to denigrate a stereotyped otherness of opposition politicians from whom he claims to differentiate himself. Criticism of the public and the state is not a unique to Milei´s electoral campaigne, although it must be acknowledged that with his frequent diatribes against the "political class," the discourse of antipolitics, latent since the social outbreak of 2001, has been revived. The present article reflects on the meaning attributed to the concept of political caste, in order to characterize it and highlight the genesis, assumptions and construction logics of the contemporary political doctrines and ideas underlying this and other concepts used as synonyms by the libertarian leader within the framework of his electoral narrative and discursive strategy.
