Procedure for the systematic analysis and standardization of concepts applied to Land Surveying and Territorial Cadastre
Abstract
In the field of Land Surveying and Territorial Cadastre, the implementation of regulations requires constant review of legal frameworks, the sciences applied in Surveying, and the doctrine developed in relevant subjects. This proposes the possibility of adding, updating, or reformulating the conceptual definition of objects, events, or phenomena, as well as the characteristics that describe them or relate them to others. This implies having tools that provide appropriate solutions. This work proposes the design of a methodological approach for systematic conceptual analysis that allows deducing the constituent elements and elaborating the description of any "conceptual entity" within the study area. Within the framework of a qualitative research approach, documentary consultation was made on the subject of Land Surveying and Territorial Cadastre and the relevant national regulations. The result consists of a methodology for systematic conceptual analysis and a standardization model. It is argued that existing research has not specialized in developing a model that can be methodically and systematically replicated across the set of entities for study. It is concluded that conceptual entities can be individualized, identified, analyzed, and described in a fundamental and autonomous manner. The application of the methodology allows for the objectification of variables, leading to a uniform and contextualized understanding of the application of territorial legal boundaries. Consequently, it is a methodological tool for conceptual analysis for Surveying professionals.
